I have a dream ...

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal." That all the citizens, private or public sector employees and unemployed too, entrepreneurs and workers, doctors or lawyers enjoy the same rights and pay their fair dues.
I have a dream, that the best will be one day chosen among the unworthy. Chosen by election to govern the people, for the people and by the people.
I have a dream. That one day my daughter will not have to be the friend of somebody to be able to become somebody.
It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the people's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Freedom from the oppression of the unionized political parties. Freedom from the corrupted politics of the past. Freedom from the debt we have inherited. Freedom from the obligation to repay for our unearned and over leveraged prosperity. I have a dream and an obligation too.

An obligation to take up the responsibility. To Act (Δράση) and help to Re-Create Again (δημιουργία, ξανά) this country the place we all deserve, the place that we will inherit to our children without the burdens of our mindless past.
I have a dream today. I hope it won't turn out to be a nightmare, a Cheap Rush.

Inspired by Martin Luther King's famous speech
